YANAMALAKUDURU SLUM REDEVELOPMENT

The Full Story

Yanamalakuduru, a village town in Vijayawada lies along the Bandar Canal. This canal has now been declared as encroached upon by these people. Aiding to beautifying process of the city, the government dreams of having a green belt along the canal and wants these people to be relocated immediately. With false hopes of being relocated shattered, these people stay in the fear of being thrown out any time; they do not know whom to turn to for help.
